I am 29 years old female married, no child. I did full body checkup and my hba1c came as 5.61 and average blood sugar value is 114. This was done after 12 hours fasting only water. Is this high? Am i prediabetic? Last year April also my hba1c was 5.6 Will this progress to diabetes soon ?

My mother was diagnosed with Type-2 Diabetes mellitus and is currently on medication dapagliflozin 10 mg+ metaformin 500 mg. Her fasting blood sugar revolves around 60 to 122 now. But she is feeling a lot of weekness in body... Not able to get up in morning and also feel uneasy most of times. Sometimes morning blood sugar was noticed even around 60.. Can it be because of the side effect of above medicine.. can we stop/reduce this medicine? Thanks in Advance.

My mother in law's random blood sugar is 197 found today after test.. her age is 65.for last few months it was under control and normal.suddenly it increased.is it serious?

My fasting blood sugar was 90.8 but hb1ac came as 5.9. Previously my HB1AC was always around 5.4,5.5 from last 4,5 years and random was generally low. This winters I ate lot of peanuts. I did. Hb1ac and it was 5.9. Can that be the reason that Hb1ac increased as my sugar always used to be on the lower side.
