Pre diabetes

Before 3 months my hba1c was 5.8 and excessive thirst and my weight was 64.. now I weigh 55 and my hba1c is 5.5. Daily I walked 10k steps and healthy diet .. why my hba1c didnt reduce well..only 0.3 has reduced.. still I have 30 percent of thirst . Are there any other problems cause thirst still? Sudden increase in weight

Hi. I am currently 24 years old. But when I was 7 years old, I was in the normal range of weight. As soon as I turned 8, my weight suddenly increased and I became overweight along with insulin resistance which caused acanthosis nigricans.
