We have changed doctors and followed every steps prescribed but the diabetes is not controlled. Patient is on insulin and medicine also. Please guide if any other options available. Patient is diabetic for almost 20 years

My father age 68 undergone for hip surgery yesterday, his sugar level is not reducing ,mixtard 30/70 is given to him 20 unit before breakfast 16 unit before dinner and medicine as prescribed by doctor even though his sugar level is high 317 after 2 hrs of lunch , i am worried for his stiches of surgery

Dear sir, I am 69 yrs type 2 dbts taking gluconorm G1 & vildapride 50 mg . for the last 2 yrs. Shall I continue it or any alternative to be taken. My fasting is150. Rice cause sudden increase in fasting. Vegitables decreases it. I have neck stiffness little numbness in feet kindly advice

Hi, my Father age is 69, Having sugar problem from last 30 years, and BP from last 3 years. I have one Dr consultation on regular basis, offline visit is good and very good Dr. But for online I get stuck as I didn't get response timely. So I need someone who can be with me on urgent basis. Like some days ago my father sugar level goes to 50, but I get connect to Dr after 5-6 hr and he said to stop all diabetic medicine. And consult after 1 days. But I didn't get connect in next 36 hours. I don't know the reason but it seems that he is also old age and not tech savy. Getting medicine for sugar, bp, cholesterol, iron multivitamins. And all was good from last 3 years, but due to some extra roaming in holy places this sugar balance comes. So should I connect to different Dr who can with be on urgent basis when needed?

Hi, My fbs is 120 And ppbs is 151. I am not a diabetic patient and even 2 weeks before I did RBS and it was 119 (70-140 range shown in report) Please let me know if I should take any medication or its ok to have such fbs and ppbs levels Have attached screenshot of the report

My brother is 19. He got tests done for DGCA CLASS-II medical. All his reports are normal (LFT,KFT,urine analysis) except FBS is 149. He was given something sweet to eat after the fasting blood test and blood was drawn again after 1.5 hours on the same day. PPBS is 102. No history of diabetes in our family. Could this be lab error? We all are extremely worried. He is too young. How can his fasting level be that high but immediately after eating it's normal. HbA1c will be done tomorrow along with GTT.

Hi, I am a diabetic patient and was on diet and medications but due to lots of travelling i usually forget to take medicine or maintain my diet also. My concern is if my eating pattern is not fixed so when should I check my blood sugar to see if it's high or not. Right after taking food ? Or should I give 2 hour gap even if I am not eating a proper meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner). It's like I am eating whatever I have in every 1-2 hour and just because I am travelling, I can't afford a proper meal. What should I do? How and when should I check my blood sugar? If I am not eating properly will it affect blood sugar level also?
