Blood sugar is FBS 298 PPBS 370
He took full body checkup and in blood report blood sugar is 298 before food and 370 after food. Also hba1c is 8.7. Consulted with doctor and he prescribed vildapep 50/500mg and becolex tablet for a mnth. If now he started medicine means do he need to continue for lifelong or after 1 month it can be stopped??. He was in diet and walking for a week and his random sugar level reduced to 190. Please suggest a way to reverse the diabetes. He is only 31 yrs old.

You repeat blood sugars after a month and have a follow up. Avoid rice , banana, potatoes. Avoid oily and junk foods. Kindly consult for further management.
