FLUCTUATING BLOOD PRESSURE
Hello Doctor,
My husband is 40 years old and works in the IT sector, which involves long hours of sitting and screen time. His blood pressure readings usually range between 128/80 to 140/90, with some readings around 130/86. He is not currently taking any medication for blood pressure or any other health condition.
I’m planning to monitor his BP regularly at home and maintain a log. Could you please advise:
What is the best time of day to take BP readings?
Should we take the reading right after waking up, or before/after exercise, pranayama, or walking?
Is it useful to check in the evenings, before or after dinner?
For how many days should we track the readings before consulting a cardiologist?
His pulse rate usually stays between 72–76 bpm.
I just want to ensure we’re tracking correctly and taking the right steps before seeing a specialist. Kindly guide us.
Thank you.

BP blood pressure medicine
71 yrs. High BP fluctuates between 150/90 up and 130/80 and is not controlled on Carvedilol 3.125 mg twice a day alone. Should dose be increased or what additional safe drug can be given keeping the current carvedilol continued? Patient has compensated liver cirrhosis and carvedilol needs to be continued. Can a diuretic be added to current med in view of occassional pedal edema?

Hs crp, Homocysteine, lymphocytes -high
Hi,
I took a master check up on blood parameters since it was more than a year I took a blood report. My report is having variations in HS CRP, Homocysteine and Lymphocytes all three are slightly high. I have bp under control with medicine for past four years, long term anxiety issues and taking treatment for it and some gut issue like early IBD - Crohn’s which was found in Colonoscopy but that is too well in control. I am a bit worried whether these variations in parameters need to be addressed as some issue or is it normal. I have some discomfort near my chest but it is completely due to anxiety as per my Cardiologist since all ECG and echo was normal.
Pls do advise on the blood report. HDL also slightly low 40.8, Ldl, Triglycerides are completely within the range. I am practicing yoga and meditation for anxiety and overall health.
Should I need start any vitamin supplements for the deficiency?
hs crp.3.23
Homocysteine - 17
Lymphocytes - 45
Vitamin b12- 213
Vitamin D- 27

Heart pain or non heart
I had two TMT and one Stress echo in 3 months both are normal.. during these test, I felt some burning sensation in my chest and JAW, which my Doctor said is related to Gerd.
But I continue to suffer from tightness in my chest and left arm with a very minimal activity like just walking around at a slow pace . Or sometimes getting up from bed to washroom.
In all my stress test, I achieved Mets more than 10 - I don't have sugar or major family history, but yes, I can get occasional high BP and my cholesterol is bit elevated..
There is some space in my cervical disc, especially C3. I feel scared and confused.

Artefacts in ct angio
I had a CT angio done sometime back, but when I look at x-ray images, they are full of artefacts. The vessels are blurry.. my Report, nowhere mentions about the diagnostic quality and says that no narrowing and normal Report.
I have shown these x-ray images to 2 cardiologist, but they say that it needs some special DICOM software to look and viewing on that reduces many of the artefacts
I continue suffer from Angina like pain and I don't want to go for invasive angio at all since I spent a good amount of money on this ct test and it is supposed to be repeated after long time
