My mother is suffering from heart problem.1 volv is shrinked,15 years ago she has gone through ballooning, few months ago in January she suffered from cold and cough in that she faced to many problems,lungs were swelled up and cough was collected,dr. Told for echo nd gone through tht and now doctor said for an open heart surgery, what to do now?

I have pain from few days in left side of chest. from last 3 days.it is pinch pint pain. comes & goes early

Am having pains in my chest, in the middle of my chest,beside the heart, it comes and goes after a few days, but more painful at night. once it stops after some days, it takes months to start again.

I've been getting some odd heart fluttering the last couple days and it's really worrying me. It's spiking my anxiety through the roof. I do work night shifts and am on asthma medicine but I just am very concerned I have something wrong with my heart but it could be my anxiety any thoughts on what's going on? Sometimes I get light headed after.

My general heartbeat as shown in Fitbit charge 2 is close to 80. With little bit activity(with brisk walking of more than 2 minutes) also, it crosses 100 easily. Is this normal only? Thanks, Sreeraju

What is solution if blockage found in arteries ? can blockage removed by taking medicines only rather than angioplasty ? My Mother (age 50 Y) have 45% LVEF and left ventricle observed dilated. Global hypokinesis with reduced LV systolic function.RV was normal in size and good RV systolic Function. Please suggest can it be treated with medicine ?

The pressure was felt and the intensity reduced over 2 hours.. but I'm still feeling that pressure slightly. Very slight suffocation

Doctor reported as cardiomegaly.for second opinion to whom we have to consult?whether cardiologist or cardio thoracic surgeon
