Sir present tablet atenlol 50 mg bp 130/80 and pulse rate is 46 is it ok pulse slow now continue atenlol

I get palpitations and gas is this due to heart or due to gas attaching ecg please reply asap thanks

My bp is 140/90 from last 20 days and have mild chest pain. All heart related test like ecg, echo, tmt are normal. Should I be taking bp medicine? My current doctor has not prescribed it but I get a feeling that I should be having it atleast for few days.
