Costochondritis or muscular pain inchest
Hi I have pain in mid chest when I do certain movements only I have consulted many doctors and did each and echo too which came out as normal. Everyone said it could be muscular pain or costochondritis. How long will it take for this to get cured? I am scared to even lift my kid. Everyone prescribed only volini gel and nothing else. Please suggest some home remedies for this problem.

Which side of chest do you have pain?? Also the exact region of pain?? Do you have pain while breathing also?? Do you have any history of trauma?? Any pain on pressing the portion of chest?? As such if your doctors are true and it is truely costochondritis then you must take anti inflammatory s medications and it might take up to 2-3 wks for it to get cured. For further and detailed discussion you need to send your chest x-ray report, echo report.

Hello, If its a costochondritis you need to take anti inflammatory medicine course. It takes 2 weeks to recover and it can recur again in future. Its not something to be worried about. Whenever it recurs you just have to take anti inflammatory medicine course. Take care
