General Surgery

Are non emergency surgery like (pilodinal cyst) still done amidst covid-19 outbreak.i recently came to notice of pilodinal cyst I wanna operate it, but still sceptical about getting surgery done in pandemic.

My both lips size is very big, it like very dull and i can not speak properly due to this. I loose my confidence very badly. Please help me.

I had bleeding in stool one month ago. Since then I have pain while passing stools. And sometimes now it's paining while standing and sitting Also. Plz suggest your valuable opinions.

Delivery happened on 16 Nov 2020 and after 8 days watery discharge from c section started. Showed to gyne, started antibiotics and daily dressing of wound. Pus started coming. Then after 20 days secondary insertion was made on c section to clean the wound. 2 days after again wound started leaking. Went to general surgeon. Changed antibiotics dose and daily dressing continued. Till date no relief. Still pus is seeping out. And a hernia also emerged next to belly button. Please help

2 years ago my mother had an USG, when we found out that she had 12mm gallbladder stone. But she has never had any symptoms even now. Do we really need to do the surgery ?

Hi! I am Aninda dutta from siliguri. I had done my inguinal hernia surgery at November2018, initially everything seemed good but after a week I felt pain in the operative area and some pus cells after consulting with many doctors in Siliguri and doing tests I came to know that I had atypical microbacterium tuberculosis. So I had given drugs from the TB centre and I had given around 45 streptomycin injection and around 30 Amikacin injection. After that huge torture I got relive from that infection and was good for last 1.5 Yrs . There was some Kind of pain I could feel in this 1.5 yrs during many time but that was not a huge issue but I have to take zerodol p painkiller for 3times during this 1.5 yrs due to pain. But from last 3 days I am feeling pain in my operative area under the abdomen near the groin region and I am feeling something heavy is inside my abdomen and I am feeling that something is forcing to come  out. It is painful,now I can't understand what to do.please help me.

I had fistulotomy surgery 11 months ago but now the fistula has reoccurred...I do not have hopes on the surgery ..what are my other options...Can Ksharasutra help???which is the best place in Bangalore for Ksharasutra ... please help..

I had a cut near the finher nail on ring finger, then it got worse, swelled. Upon some treatment swelling was reduced but the woumd go away maybe due to poking of the nail. Now the situation is wound is not recovering, because of the over granulation, and new skin is not forming. Doctor has tried to chamge that red mass to change into black mass by using copper sulphide crystals but that won't work too. Now a little hole type was produced there with the red granulation tissue appearing there, so doctor has now stiched the skin close around it. Will that work, and is it safe I mean wouldn't that granulation increase below the skin?
