General Surgery

Hello, I have a hard perianal abscess (4x4 cm) for the past 3 weeks. I do not have any pain but feeling mild discomfort when sitting. I visited a gastro surgeon nearby, but he told that it may not be possible to drain it completely at the moment as the abscess is indurated. He also prescribed Amoxicillin antibiotic tablet for 10 days. I still do not see any improvement in the past one week of medication. I'm afraid that it might spread. Please provide your valuable guidance on what treatment should be done to get rid of this abscess.

My sister went through surgery for piles and fissure on 3 jan. Wanted to know till how long the pain will remain while passing stool and afterwords? And any suggestions regarding lifestyle and diet after surgery. Thanks in advance.

I accidentally Found a lymph node in my neck on the right side almost in February 2021 i don't know since how many years or months it has been there i urgently rushed to my ent he suggested usg And result showed 6×5 mm reactive lymph node on benign mode and Today its still there the Same size my doc told me to leave it alone fnac or biopsy wasn't recommended because of its small size

I'm 27 year old male, my left beast was slightly swollen since my teens however it was not evident, how ever last couple of years of sedentary lifestyle I gained weight. Hii doctor, as you know the thyroid gland is supplied by branches of carotid artery and other blood vessels. So, can moving/lowering your thryroid down (along with Adam's apple) to the full range or too much, tear or damage those arteries (like carotid artery)? Sorry for the stupid question.
