General Surgery

Consulted a doctor for my father's stomach oain. in ultrsound report, 13.3mm of gallstone detected. Doctor is advising for surgery. Hiwever my father is diabetic, has bp issues, heart issues and some other illness as well. Last year deteced with minor brain stroke as well. I have all the reports i.e ultrasound, ecg etc.. Need to show reports and consult doc for advise

Are stitches given in the fistulectomy for 2 cm intersphinteric fistula or the wound is left open . I need to know this to get my mind ready for the operation .

I have been diagnosed with fistula in Ano . intersphincteric fistula - 2 cm - grade 1 There are two doctors 1 - Mbbs - Ms surgery - 37 years experience ( Can meet him twice a week and will have to travel far for a post surgery appointment) 2 - Ms shalya - Ayurvedic doctor 5-7 years experience . ( Genuine person and very accessible for dressing if required ) Both suggest fistulectomy . I am not sure which one to go for because I don't know how much dressing is difficult after surgery and for post surgical appointments . Can someone guide ?

Sir I'm suffering from fistula since 3 months...I'm thinking of undergoing surgery..however I'm thinking of getting mri done before surgery..what kind of mri should I undergo for fistula in ano .I mean what I will say at mri centre...any specific term...which mri gives exact location and condition of fistula in ano

Symptoms Breathing pause when sleeping Nasal congestion from last 1 year No snoring Eye itching or burning I have anexity of health Consultation of pulmonologist and ENT Dr done ENT doctor said it's GERD Pulmonologist said allergic rhinitis I asked is this sleep apnea for both of them after examining my lungs , ear, throat, neck they said no  it's not sleep apnea Please suggest

Done my surgery on 5 June 23  it has been  4 weeks  outside wound healed almost I want to know how much time it will take to heal from inside . One week or two weeks or more than that and my wound is red from inside is it a sign of healthy wound kindly answer my question.. God bless you.

I have completed 4 weeks of my fistulectomy surgery I just want to know is it safe for me have couple of cigarettes as I have not smoked till now ... please guide me..
