Fnac test reports of thyroid is benign follicular lesion bethesda category 2 after sugery biopsy reports of thyroid nodule is suggestive papillary carcinoma of thyroid, now they are going to do total thyroidectomy

Get your slides reviewed from another lab/hospital… if it is papillary ca then total thyroidectomy is needed

Yes it can happen .. only a small part of the nodule would have had cancer and that gets missed in fnac and bx...
