You have less than 1 percent risk of malignancy
As the size of leison is 4 cm you have to undergo hemicolectomy
If it is malignant you should undergo completion total thyroidectomy

From a big nodule, Fnac is a small representative of tissue.
Most of the times it is done under scan guidance picking up the most suspicious area of tissue for sample
Surgery can either be removal of half of thyroid with the nodule or total thyroid
Even if the biopsy of the removed nodule comes as cancer
If total thyroid was removed, it ends up as one part of curative treatment.
If half of thyroid was removed, then remaining thyroid should be removed at another surgery.
Further cancer related evaluation and follow ups will pursue
