Ive been smoking for the past 8-9 years, But recently I've decided to quit this habit altogether. Significantly reduced my consumption and will be quitting soon. But there are some symptoms that are worrying me, tightness in the chest, some coughing at night, with mucus dripping from my nose ( can feel my nose is stuffy while breathing in) - mucus was very light coloured but not transparent. Some lethargy too in day to day activities.

Recent blood test revealed that my mother has 34.8% HCT, 82.9 fl MCV, 26.6 pg MCH, 17.3% RDW-CV and 14.82 Leukocyte Count (10^3/microlitre). She has also shown 13.4 fl MPV and 35.5 fl PDW. She is on recovery from a recent bout of bronchitis and has been taking Duolin, Budetrol inhalers, Clavam 625, Defcort 12 with Rapitus Plus and Ascoril SF syrups. What should be our next step ? Please help.

Had congested nose. ENT put up scope and said its nasal polyp. Asked me to go for CT scan. I know CT scan is used to assess the extend of the disease. Yet, I am scared that it will show cancer :(. I want to go for it but its been a week since I cannot gather courage for the CT scan. I am such a coward :(. I actually read it in google that unilateral nasal polyps are uncommon and hence i am even more scared :(. Please guide me in this situation. I want to cry so badly.
