Hi Dr, I have urgent query. My father has Dengu. Here is complete history: He started fever on last Saturday with max fever 101.5. It was ON OFF ever till Sunday. I was giving Dolo to him Later, We met local Clinic dr and he added antibiotic in course. But Monday morning, We did Blood CBC and dengue test. Dengue came positive. platelet count was 0.44 with Machine and 0.88 with manual Fever still continued while monday and Monday night. Next morning Tuesday, Dad fainted in bathroom. We rushed him to repeat platelet and BP. BP was 70/40 & platelet came as 0.12 in machine but 1lakh as manual. We started Saline drip NS along with antibiotic. We repeated platelet in Tuesday evening. Result came on Wednesday morning as 25k. Later, We rechecked platelet again at 10:30am in another lab , it came as 40k.  We did platelet on Wednesday evening and it came as 70k. Now, today morning we repeated platelet and it came as 50. Father is taking Vitamin tablet and one time NS drip in clinic. please sug

My mother is on telma40+ amlo5 ( telma AM tablet). Bp is varying between 105/70 in the morning to 90/70 during the evening. During sleep , her bp dipped to 88/60 one time. Should bp medicine be stopped for few days and then a lower dose of bp medicine be started by consulting physician?

My 19 months nephew had fever from last 7 days and having paracetamol since starting then in last two days antibiotics were added. I don't have exactly prescription right now. But he have no other symptoms like cold or cough. It's 102°F fever from 7 days. Is that can be any serious issues ? Any suggestions? Like which tests should done? He eating and drinking properly now but fever is constant. He looking weak. Plz help🙏

Today i was travelling by bus.. i had some chest discomfort but i ignored it as i had stomach trouble last night... after 2 hours I started feeling uneasy- i felt as if i couldnt understand whats happening around me, i felt confused and sleepy.. tried to feel my pulse- it felt faint n weak though on checking it was around 85... after 1 hour i got better. When i got off buss I thought to get an ekg done which is attached below.. is there any correlation between ekg n symptoms mine

Hello Doctors My total cholesterol is 275 and LDL is 189. I am on medication for this as per doctor suggestion. I do yoga daily  and now started walking. I am a working woman with a three year old baby. I used to drink a small cup of tea/coffe morning and evening with one spoon of sugar. Can I drink either tea/coffee at least one time a day? Can I take curd daily?? Kindly guide me.

After 2 months of delivery my thyroid levels are TSH-1.785, T3-1.66, T4-21.62. Why my T4 levels are too high,is it normal after delivery?
