I was sitting on sofa and studying. On the adjacent sofa, there were some washed handkerchiefs, socks kept. I felt an itch inside my nose and some mucous. I picked up one handkerchief and put it inside my nostrils to wipe my nostrils from inside. I later realised that sometimes rats in the house and also a chachunder (shrew) they often jump on the sofa and sometimes dirty it. Since the handkerchief was a bit damp, I am scared that if any saliva or urine was present on the handkerchief, can I get rabies infection or some disease? What do I do?
