47 year old female having diabetes from last 10 years on insulin. I got Hba1c done along with c anca that showed positive. Hba1c is 10.5 and c anca 93. Please suggest whom to consult and what are the threats associated with c anca being positive.

When I try to pass urine.. I'm unable to pass it.. Any reason for it? I've taken sleeping pills.. Is this reason for it?

Hi Doctors, My father 64 years old is a sugar patient. His sugar is a bit high fasting around 200 and similar post eating. He is under medication, too. For the past year, he has been experiencing spinning head like in vertigo along with nausea and acid reflux. We had consulted with the doctor all the time, and sometimes it was said it is vertigo, other time stomach infection, and after taking medicine, it gets better but reoccur again . Today, the blood sugar level was also 107, which is lower than usual. Wanted to know from you all what test we shall do and if it is just vertigo or we should test for something else as well. Thanking in advance.

My brother is suffering from persistent fever , that comes only during nights and it goes up to 102-103 F for almost 15 days. Our doctor mentioned that the blood tests are normal. There were platelets reduction but it started to increase after 2 days. Tested negative for scrub typus, Leptospirosis, dengue, malaria & Typhoid. Also the abdominal ultrasound scan is normal. My doctor tested CRP and it was 7.9. He mentioned that it could be scrub typhus and given lariago ds & doxy for 3 days.But I am scared of fever that continues yet. Not sure on the further steps. Please help

Having back pain near sholder blade on right side. It is from last 2 to 3 days. It occures most when sitting without back support. Mild but bothering. Thanks Also if it relate with back pain ot not have red ring on chest not itchy.

Can one get rabies if we get hurt on road or get abrasions etc. So many dogs roam around constantly even as we go anywhere or come home esp during daytime? If I got an abrasion from the heel of my shoes on my other leg, while trying to take them off, is there a risk? There was urine, maybe saliva on the road as I came but dogs were in the side. I am more worried as while applying sanitizer to abrasion, drops of sanitizer from the cotton splashed in my nostrils too. 5 mins had passed.

I wanted to check with you if it would be safe for me to take an Omega-3 supplement. I'm suffering from cold, with dries nose and blood in cough and there's no fever. The blood in cough is almost visible every morning since last 6-7 days and not in the day time ( only once got in noon).

Mom is taking nicardia retard 10 from long. Now she has been advised to change to Nicardia XL 30. Is Nicardia 30 xl is safe to use ?
