Based on your symptoms, this is most likely tinea cruris.Candid b contains a steroid that can temporarily reduce inflammation and itching. But it can also suppress the immune response locally.
Next Steps
What you should do is, stop candid b and use antifungal creams without steroids (clotrimazole 1%). Keep area dry and cool. Gently pat the area after bath (avoid rubbing) Regularly change your underwear. Review after 7-10 days if the symptoms persist.

Hello 👋 Itching around the testes, especially if it worsens after bathing and returns daily despite using Candid-B, is suggestive of tinea cruris (fungal infection). 👉 Important note: Candid-B contains a steroid (beclomethasone) which may reduce itching temporarily but can worsen the fungal infection over time. Here's what you can do: ✅ Stop Candid-B immediately. ✅ Use a plain antifungal cream (e.g., clotrimazole, terbinafine, or luliconazole) twice daily for at least 2–4 weeks. ✅ Keep the area clean and dry – use antifungal dusting powder during the day. ✅ Wear loose cotton underwear and avoid sharing towels. ✅ Wash clothes in hot water and sun-dry to kill spores. 📌 If the issue persists or worsens, I recommend a dermatologist consult. You may need an oral antifungal if the infection is extensive or recurring. Hope this helps! Take care 😊 Connect  with me.
