Iam latest consult a neurologist for my bp &anxiety and Panic he suggest Some tests like MRI brain and blood tests all are normal. He prescribed me Olmezest h20 for BP , Nexito plus for Anxiety at night. Pls suggest any side effects of Nexito plus and how long use nexito plus for anxiety. Regards.

My mother is 58 years old. She has hypertension and taking medication for the same since 14 years. She's currently on Amlodipine 5mg + Atenolol 50mg. From the past few days her BP is increasing reaching a maximum of 165/100. We visited a General Physician and he just measured the BP and advised us to either increase the dose of Amlodipine to 10mg or take 2.5 mg for 15 days then if no relief then increase to 10mg. It's been 7 days now she's taking additional 2.5mg and now her BP is in the range of 135-140/80-85. What should we do next? Also she has gum overgrowth and sometimes leg swelling too. I was wondering can she take S-Amlodipine 2.5mg instead of plain Amlodipine 5mg? She's pre-diabetic with all her blood work normal. Thank You!

My tsh level currently is 5.1 my doctor said to continue with ivf only when it’s 2.5 or below . By april i have to reduce it she has asked to start thyroxin 50mcg . I am just skeptical if i start i will have to continue it my whole life. What should i do? Can i begin with 25 mcg? Will it reduce tsh by april?

We are recently testing bp for my mother as she feels tired sometimes in the morning. Her sugar levels are normal and the bp always shows higher than 170/100 to 180/110. She was taking 100mg of thyroid tablet because of some thyroid issues. Now the doctor reduced it to 75mg as the recent thyroid test shows normal. Did she have to start the bp medicine also? Or any other self care is fine.
