Swelling legs since 8 days and in pain ... health related conditions ( bp and diabetes patient). At the moment in UNITED Kingdom can't do blood tests done prescribed by practo dr... Can any one help mother ease her pain and get rid of swelling in her legs...prescribing any medications or remedy... Thanks

My husband's platelets count was in first random test was 90k, then after 5 days count comes 65k, then we did a manual count on test it comes 1 lac.. Still what I see lesser in range.. What should I do and understand from it..

Hey doctors! I'm having difficulty clearing my bowls. It feels like constipation but the stool is soft. And I'm unable to push and when the stool tries to pass it hurts near the edges. With anus twitching like spasm while clearing my bowls. Normally I feel like there's something between my buttocks while sitting, standing, and sleeping. It becomes fine after I pass the stool. Lately since the last 5 days there's some  discharge coming out which smells and very small pieces.

I regularly fed street Dog i have taken 5 doses of rabbies in march last year then i have taken 1 arv since every 6 months as prescribed by my physician is i am safe some doctors say that 1 doses is not sufficient at all

I was scratched by a stray cat on 20.05.2025, and The scratch slightly tore the skin, but it was not deep. The cat is not vaccinated . I washed the area with soap and water, and took a tetanus injection the next day.Until yesterday, the cat looked healthy, but now its eyes appear abnormal—possibly due to a fight with another cat. Since the cat's condition has changed and it is not vaccinated ,should I take a rabies vaccine like Rabivax-S for safety?

My pet dog who is vaccinated himself against rabbies 7-8 months ago bit me on my hand though it's a very small bite like only a drop of blood came out then I went for the vaccination next day(within 24 hrs after the bite) in government hospital and the 2nd shot was scheduled after 3 days which is today but they ran out of stock so told me to come tomorrow in the morning so is it fine to get it on the 4th day ?

Can you tell me the difference between Osmotic Laxatives and Stimulant Laxatives? Please mention the different use cases of these two types of Laxatives. Apart from these 2 Laxatives, are there any other kind of Laxatives? Are Stimulant Laxatives safe for long term ?
