My boyfriend (22 years) had done a lipid profile test which shows LDL Cholestrol: 107 HDL : 42 Tryglycarides: 185 I am scared. Does he need to start medicines? He is 75kgs and 5"9.

I have just been prescribed this medication for my high cholesterol, and I am curious if this is a life long treatment with this medication? I have changed my lifestyle with daily exercise and healthy food. As per my online searches, there wasn't any specific mention to this, but some mentions of how cholesterol might lower but discontinuing Roseday due to it may cause other problems... So am I doomed to take this medication all life long no matter how much my lifestyle changes I make? Thank you.

My LDL is 161, total cholesterol is 202, HDL 34, VLDL 17, Triglycerides 134. Non HDL 195. Can I follow proper diet and exercise and manage to bring the cholesterol levels down without medicine. Please suggest

Respectful Sir/Madam, Recently went for a self test for Blood glucose and the results are FBS - 101 and PLBS - 80. The fbs range shown was 70-100 mg/dl and plbs range shown was 70-140 mg/dl. Kindly tell that does the result mean diabetic? Later had went for an HbA1c test and the result was 5.6%. Please do help to conclude and should I take any medication ? Postural tachycardia I suspect I had tilt table test today in SIR GANGARAM HOSPITAL , DELHI my heart rate was increasing on tilt table from supine to standing by 30 to 40 beats but techician considered it as normal and said ur report is negative as you are not fainting and your bp is not decreasing what is your advise on this sir/ma'am ?
