My post meal lunch sugar is high ( 180-230) and fast sugar is also high ( 140-160) . From evening after my workout the sugar levels are good (120-150). I take one medicine in the morning, should i try shifting to night, post meal or before bedtime??

My father had done Hb1ac test and the report came 5.9% hb1ac & estimated average glucose is 123 mg/dL. And the report points out pre diabetic range. Is it a pure diabetes or it can be cured?

Just wanted to know the procedure of sugar testing... Fasting Blood sugar test should be done without meal and ongoing diabetes medicine Post Fasting blood sugar test, I'm confused if we should have ongoing diabetes medicine post food and then conduct the test or conduct the test without having the medicine.. Can some one pls let me know

I didn't have any medical history till last month when I had fits and diagnosed with Graves Decease, Thyrotoxic Periodic Paralysis. It's been 5 weeks I am on medication but my TSH  levels are not leveled yet, even being on diet of  low salt and low carb than usual, I gained almost 5 Kg in 5 weeks.  What should I do next?

My mother is having Thyroid  problem since last 25 years.She has been operated once to remove gland 15 years ago.Since than Doctor has advised to take Thyrocare tablet and to increase/decrease Thyrocare dose based on TSH test to be done on once in 3 months.Currently she is taking 50 mg dose every day and 25 mg on Saturday and Sunday.Attaching her TSH report for last one year.Need advise on Thyrocare tablet dose.

Hi Dr. My mother has recently been tested with HbA1C = 6.3. She has been taking Glizid 40mg tablets for 8 years now. Could you please suggest any other medicine more effective than this? Thanks!

My father 57 years old has diabetes which is under control now with glimiperide 2mg + metformin 500mg ( mrng & evening) ..Now he has shoulder pain + palm's joint pain , he can't move it much ..We consulted orthopaedic & physiotherapist but no improvement , some abnormal reports are HDI cholesterol 36.06 , LDL direct 163.78, LDL Cal 150 , LDL/HDL ratio 4.54, uric acid 8.05, b12- 181, hto 14.50 ...what is your take on current medicine + what about shoulder n palm joint pain ..Thanks
