My mother has diabetes. I wanted to know if sugar free or stevia can be used for tea or coffee or milk. Is it safe to consume stevia? Does it impact any health condition. As she has diabetes and blood pressure. Which sugar alternate is ok to consume in lesser quantity. Please suggest.

Hi I am healthy and fit except have hypothyroidism, 45 year old female. Today my HbA1c test report came 5.7 which shows I am prediabetic. What precautions should I take to Not Have diabetes. White sugar i do not take But yes jaggary i take sometimes. I do excercise and my weight is also in control. Thank you

I am 29 year old, 98 kgs, female. My sugar rises after dinner which also leads to high fasting. Then throughout the day I do not see such a spike even after meals. But after dinner (even if v light dinner) my sugar spikes. Can early dinner (around 6 PM) be a solution?

Hi I am a 29 yr, female, weight 98 kgs. My blood sugar peaks suddenly after dinner and therefore my fasting sugar comes high. My PP sugar after breakfast comes fine and throughout the day its fine. Again after dinner it peaks. This cycle repeats. My blood sugar before dinner was 100 - then 2 hours after i had light dinner it was 194 (sudden peak) - next morning fasting sugar was 138- then 2 hours after breakfast 150. What should my course of action be?

Hello dr. Randomly I checked my glucose with glucometer,it was 267mg/dl. I'm obese(wt. 103kg,ht.5'7") Now I'm doing exercises and low card diet since 5 days. Now my fasting glucose is 147 and post meal it is 162. 1)Should I take medicine or I can manage it with diet and exercise? 2)Can it be reversed? Kindly suggest me.. Thanks

I am heart patient physically active with 3 stents implanted 8 years ago, now on ecospirin 75. Rosivas 5 and amlodipine 2.5. Since last year developed sugar. Fasting sugar is 220. Hba1c 7.7. Presently taking metformin sr once a day. Need advice for bringing the diabetis  under control.
