My father is diabetic since 25 yrs. Currently his age is 70. He is on strict diet, lifestyle, medication & generally has acceptable sugar or high..very rarely low..However for the last 5 days, every night his sugar drops to 40/50..did a few tests... CBC, Urine Routine, Electrolytes, Random Blood sugar, HbA1c, Creatinine, Liver Function Test..Key results below: Creatinine is 1.27 Hba1c is 5.8 Urine protein (albumin) is present Urine glucose is 0.5% Rbc count is 3.98 Pcv is 35.7 Hemoglobin is 11.7........... Changed insulin dose n medication at night time. However, still sugar is dropping at night. Did we miss any tests? What maybe the reason for this continuous low sugar only at nights?

Hello In past 1 year of lockdown. I have gain 18 kgs of weight. I am just 22 years old and do workout on regular basis. In the month of May 2021. I had to deal with mild covid for almost a month and in which I almost gain 4 kgs. I have take thyroid test which came normal. I took a blood sugar test that fasting one which came normal too. Even the pcos hormonal test was taken and the hormone are normal again. I was told to take the pelvic scan which showed that I have cysts in my ovaries. My periods come in 30 to 40 days max and they come every month. I had been losing my hair a lot... It is more than 200 strands at a time. I take no medicine for pcos or pco. I was told to lose weight which very very difficult. I was told to go to endocrinologist. Which I will be going next month. I would like to know .. what should I do and what all the test I should take for my weight problem and hair problem. Thank you.

After three months of medication, 15 days  back my Thyronorm dose was reduced from 75 mcg to 50 mcg. due  to a TSH of 0.07 and Free T4 of 2.89 (lab cut off 1.76 ) Even after reducing the dose feeling faster heartbeats and sweating, home digital BP machine displaying Arrhythmia sign. and repeated TSH after two weeks ( today ) and is 0.02 Do I need to stop medicine or consultation required. Treatment was started a year back due to a TSH of 10 and positive TgAB.
