I take Thyronorm every morning. My doctor advises that the tablet should not be touched by hand. Why is that? Is there any specific reason? Kindly advise. Thanks

My thyroid level was 7.56 in April 2021. I started talking Thyronorm 50 mcg. After four months, the level dropped to 4.06. I continued with the same medicine as per my doctor's advice. After four months, it has increased to 5.14. Please advise. Although, the level is within the range, I wonder why it has gone up despite taking medicine. I checked on 16/12/2021. Just four days ago.
