Fasting blood glucose is around 150
My fasting blood glucose comes around 150 while random comes around 120 I am taking Gluconorm sr 1000mg after breakfast and Voglibose 0.3 mg before lunch and dinner. Kindly suggest why is it so? I recovered from COViD in June'21 CT value was 23/25. I was administered steroid. Please suggest whether it will recover or i will have lifetime diabetes.

Steroids are increase the blood sugar level. Please repeat your diabetes profile including HBAIc,fasting and post lunch. Balanced diet,exercise, lifestyle modifications,meditation help lot to improve blood sugar level.

It's nothing to worry about. It just means that you are night dose is not enough and that's why by morning the Sugars are increasing. Then after you take the morning dose your sugars normalise. We need to adjust your night dose. At present we only have control for diabetes no cure, but we are hopeful for the future.
