Doctors, if a person take two times insulin or medicine for diabetes . So if there is need to decrease dose then which time medicine or insulin must be decrease ? I mean morning time or evening time dose we must decrease it ?

Genetic diabetes.

My dad has diabetes.. He does not have medicine.. But he keeps it control by having restricted diet for the last 10 years.. My dad's sisters and brothers some of them has also diabetes.. My question is will i have diabetes after i reach a certain age or is the diabetes hereditary?? How to avoid it?? Please help.
