I had this medicine before & I think it generates lot of fluid in the body? Is it true? Is there any substitute medicine which do not generates fluid & keep sugar level under control?

Hello sir I'm 29 Total thyroidectomy done for pct in 2014 I was without thyroxine from 1st of Feb23 to get my  iodine scan done on 23 feb23 Recently I was to hospital for general check on 1st feb 23 my bp was around 150/110 ,next day 150/100 So doctor has prescribed Me ARB'S 20MG Here I have query that my sugar levels were under control till now but taking bp medication may parllerly may increase the risk of getting diabetes, is it TRUE? Suggest me with best solution for keeping the blood sugar in control? And How can I reduce or  remove the bp medication ,is it really possible?
