I have 5.8 hba1c before 2 weeks .. from that day I am walking 12000 steps and exercising. I am following diet. Are there any chances that my hba1c 5.8 started affecting my kidneys already?

5.8 is just the start of prediabetes .. Very much reversible with lifestyle changes currently you have adopted.5.8%will not affect the kidneys... nothing to worry at all Diet and exercise is the key to control the sugars
