My spouse had accidentaly been taking thyronorm 100 mcg for 1 month 20 days instead of 50 mcg as prescribed by doctor. What should be done now? I believe there are some side effects like leg cramps, breathlessness etc which are now evident. Kindly advice accordingly.

My mother is 51 yrs old she is hypo thyroid and her TSH level is 6.5( ref range is .55-4.7), she is taking 50 mcg thyronorm every day but once in a week she take 100 mcg as prescribed by the doctor.
