Asked for Female, 27 Years I had tsh level of 11.85 and was given 25mcg of thyronorm.after 10 days I was tested for anti tpo antibodies(which was negative), Dexamethasone supression test for serum cortisol with 1mg dexona(negative result and no cushings) and tsh.now the tsh level is 1.14.does Dexamethasone lower tsh value,when should I test my tsh again to continue thyronorm as my doctor asked me to stop it seeing these value.does 10 days of treatment with thyronorm decrease the so drastically?I'm hypothyroid or was that a transient tsh rise due to stress or viral infection? views-icons 10 Views

My TSH is very high and myft3 and ft4 is in range My endocrine has put me on thyrox 100mcg Is it hashimoto?? And do you really gain weight with autoimmune hypothyroid ?

I am suffering from hypothyroid but it s normal.I was having fever few days ago and i have taken crocin tablet after taking it for one day fever was gone now but I am feeling like I am not able to breathe properly sometimes while sitting sometimes standing .if I drink water or eat something I feel ok but again shortness of breath is there.plz can anyone suggest any test or it is some infection or my anxiety.

Frustation, fatness, swelling there thyroid testing paper, diagnosed paper and want to check it up...so I want a doctor for it..

Hello Doc, We recently checkup Thyroid, and we get teport as TSH 100. How can we control thyroid as well we have knee replacement operation after 10 daya ? Does thyroid side effect in knee replacement operation? Thank you.

I have a history of PCOS. I was continuously gaining weight so my endocrinologist suggested metformin but the medicine made me nauseous all the time so i discontinued it. But after leaving the meds i am again gaining weight. I didn't want to rely on medicines all the time but keeping weight in check is becoming an issue. I feel very lethargic and have mood swings. Have a history of hypothyroid but my doctor took me off thyroxine as TSH levels were really low (4years ago; immediately after which i gained weight and kept gaining, complicated by PCOS). Should i start with metformin or do i need to get other tests done. Can it be related anyway to thyroid (Latest TSH levels are normal). Is there an alternative treatment available.

T3: 0.8 ng/ml, T4: 8.5 ug/dl, TSH: 1.35 uIU/ml. For these test values does the patient has thyroid issues. If not, can she have thyroid in future based on these values.

I am diabetic(type-1) for almost 15 year's. I got married two years back. But till now we are not having children. Is it related to diabetes or some other disorder??
