Writing this on behalf of my mother. She recently had her annual health checkup. The TSH was below range, at 0.26. But t3 and T4 were normal. We were advised to repeat the test after a few days. In that test, TSH was below 0.01 but T3 and T4 were still normal. Our doctor started medications, and now the TSH is 7. T3 and T4 are still normal. Her weight increased 1.5 kgs in 6 days. After researching a bit I found out that deciding things based solely on TSH level is not very correct. What should be done in this case? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Doctor, I just had a TSH test done in office and the result showed a value of 0.02. Please let me know what steps to take in such a condition.

She has thyroid which is effecting on her eyes. she is using Methimez 10mg. For prolonged use of Methimez for 2 months she is coming to hypo condition. Then she is stopping usage of Methimez for 15 days again she is turned into hyper. Then she is again using the medicine. In both the cases her eyes are effecting. Now she is taking IV steroid for her eyes. What is the permanent solution for this. Is it curable completely or we have to go for radioactive thyroid treatment, if that is the case is there problem for her eyes.......????

Ecg report says sinus rhythm, low limb lead voltage and unspecified T abnormality. She has Hypothyroidism. Sometimes she experience palpitations for 30-40 seconds. Is this normal for people with Hypothyroidism.?

Hello doctor I having hypothyroidism since three year,I am taking 100 mcg regular medicine and my periods is regular but before one year back,I am getting 5 days bleeding but from last one year it's come to 3 days,in thyroid case how many days bleeding should happen and my TSH Value is 1.50 and this will affect to my pragency,pls help me

My wife has hypothyroidism. Sometimes her heart rate increases all of a sudden and she starts to panic. It will last for 30-40secs and will get normal. Wanted to know if this is normal for people having thyroid issue

Two nodules are found in thyroid gland and the size remains the same after allopathy treatment and repeating that she took homeopathy treatment even then the nodules are not disappearing allopathy doctors say operating and removing it is the only option . Is it the only option or is there any other remedies to remove those nodules

I am taking GLIMIZIDE-MP2 (Glimepride,Pioglitazone,Mettormin HCL tablets) 2 time a day. But still blood sugar levels are between 250-280 after meal.
