My mother has found Thyroid TSH 10.92. As my mother has fracture on hip side she is unable to walk and not able to go to doctor. Kindly suggest tablet for one week so that My mother get relief and no further side affect. Please suggest tablet for one week and thanks to you in advance.

My PP glucose level is increasing like 160-170 for last 3 days.. what type of diet should i take to control it( how many calories, protein etc.) And apart from these i am feeling tired and depressed.

Hello Doctor, My mother is having diabetes since 5 years . She is going to the same doctor for check up since then but now the doctor changed and he also changed the medicines . Earlier she used to take - metformin 2000mg, pregabalin, mecobalmine (she has leg pains ),gilmepride and ramipril Now prescribed ones - Metformin 2000mg, atrovstatin, pioglitazone 30mg , natrilix and ramipril My mother's HbA1c is 6.5 . I got to know that pioglitazone is a banned drug .  But the doctor says to continue . Plz suggest if she can avoid it or should she continue? Thanks and regards, Preeti

A couple of days after my period ends, I feel angry, stressed, and irritated. Over time it gets worse. The week before my period begins it has become so severe. I feel tired, unfocused, noises are painful to me (last time I kept hitting my head and pulling my ears to stop the noise) aggressive to the point of feeling an urge to stab someone, i even have some suicidal thoughts and find myself crying for simple things. When my period comes, I feel better. All that negativity leaves.

Hello, I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism since April 2014 and I have been taking Levothryoxine 50 mg daily. However, since this year my doctor has increased my dose to 75mg daily since I used to feel tired etc. Yesterday I got a thyroid profile test done and the values are as follows: Free T3- Serum - 1.9 pg/ml Free T4- Serum - 0.5 ng/dl TSH - 1.4 IU/ ml What do I insinuate from my test results since TSH is normal but T4 is low?
