I have been on eltroxin since 6 years but gaining weight now my doctor has incresed the dose to 100 mcg n i m feeling constipated heavy lossing hair and gained 12lbs what should i do....i m trying to ask my doctor for other medication

TSH - 7.15, T3 and T4 normal. Anti thyroid antibody (tg) on higher side- 145. TPO is is range - 5.0. No other health problem. Don't feel tiredness. Or no increase in weight. What should I do for above mentioned level.of TSH.

My blood reports shows higher sugar level i.e. Fasting- 151 mg/DL (70-110) PP - 229 mg/DL (90-160) Glycated Haemoglobin(HBA1C)- 7.4% (3.5%-6.0%) But doctor has mentioned signs of Hypoglycaemia on report. Which as much as I know is the problem associated with low glucose level in blood. Please clarify my doubts as per my understanding Hypoglycaemia condition is when glucose level is Less than 70mg/DL in blood.

My7 46yr old daughter, Adele, has the above condition, with each symptom to the maximum. She has a nodule on thyroid gland. Her GP is not prepared to prescribe any medication, or pain relief - Adele suffers joint pain, is morbidly obese. I'd have thought a referral to an endocrinologist would be appropriate. Can you offer any advice?

I just want to know if there is a "Cure". I take thyronorm 75mg everyday but I know that is not the cure, only a way to maintain TSH. Is it possible to activate the thyroid gland and thereby eliminate hypothyroidism altogether?

Does values of T3, T4 and TSH out of reference range confirm thyroid disorder? What if T3 and T4 are lower than normal value and TSH is higher than normal values?

My nominal meds for Type 2 Diabetes are Galvus Met 50/1000 twice a day. just received refill that doesnt have the same ingredients. Metformin no problem, but was given 5mg Trajenta tablets instead of 50 Mg Galvus tablets.. Dosage change was not explained. What's the dosage of Trajenta 5 mg tablets?
