Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

I have a sore throat on right side since a month I am taking tab histafree 180 mg and tab montair 10 mg as advised by my ENT

My father aged 65 years. Suffering from hearing issue since 3 to 4 years. He is using hearing aids. After consulting with doctor, the test shows hearing capacity 95% for left ear and 45% right ear. Since 10 days he is suffering from cough only. Taking medicines for cough now. So now he can't hear properly through right ear also. He hears double voice. After having hearing aid also he hears fizzle voice. His BP now is 145/100. What can be the reason for this issue with right ear also. Should we need to change his hearing aids to advanced one??. Current hearing aid works properly we just checked. Please let me know the what can be the reason behind this hearing problem?.
