Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

My mother is having issues while consuming spicy food and can not taste certain foods. She is able to taste sour food and need more salt to enhance the taste of any dish. We have visited ENT specialist before and she is consuming the medicine as prescribed but her condition is not improving. I want to know which specialist will be able to help on this?
