Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

I have had a sore throat and swollen glands for 5 days now and despite rest and drinkinglots of water and also garling salt water after every meal I feel my pain/the symptoms are the same. am i doing the right things to make it go away? How long will it last? I also have red bumps (no white spots) on the back of my throat that are painless. Thanks

Hi, my ear is completely blocked making me deaf from right ear. This was caused when water poured into my ear so in order to unblock I used an ear bud which completely deteroited the situation. Kindly help
