What are the early symptoms of throat cancer? Can a person who has been smoking for 6 years, get throat cancer at the age of 26?

Non-continuos fever up to a week ,Im getting my left throat swelled up whenever I get fever. I feel.normal for two days but after two days the fever and the swelling catches me again...I'm taking medicines according to my physician they are, Dolo-650 (three times a day),Cefinith-O(for morning and night),and No cold (only at Night)...I feel good after taking these medicines for two days and but after few days all those symptoms I mentioned above continues.
