My son is 27 months old and is coughing. Initially it was mild ( 3 days back) . Now i am observing it was increased. I am giving him warm water and tulsi cloves infused water along with 1 tablespoon of Ginger turmeric and honey once in a day. How much time it will take to cure and anything else I can do ? According to government guidelines we can't give coughing syrups. What is can do more? I have levosalbutal respules can I give him nebulization ( previously prescribed by his pediatrician). Hi doctor, as per doctor advice I was nebulizing my baby adding hyperneb solution. Suddenly he moved, due to this solution came out from medicine tank, and fell on my baby face, lips and on neck not sure he swallowed or not. What to do? I am really worried, it's hitting me hard as a mother 😒

Hello Doctor, My daughter, Nyra, 4 years old, has been having repeated cough and cold for the past few weeks. We recently did an X-ray and blood tests. The reports showed mucus or phlegm in the lungs, and she was given medications including antibiotic (Cefpodoxime Proxetil), Levo-cetirizine with Montelukast, Acebrophylline syrup, and Prednisolone. After 5 days of medication, her condition improved and the cough reduced. However, after about a week, the cough and cold are coming back again. She also gets nasal congestion at night and sometimes chest sounds while coughing. Kindly advise if this could be allergic bronchitis or a recurring infection, and whether we should start any long-term treatment or preventive care to stop it from coming back. Please also suggest if we need to repeat any X-ray, nebulization, or blood tests at this stage. Thank you, Doctor

My baby is about 60 days old now. Until 45 days he used to poop daily atleast 4 to 6 times. But after 45 days he started pooping 3 days once and now even after 4 days he is not pooping. Could you please suggest this. Many thanks in advance.

Kid was having severe cold and cough for the past two weeks. Doctor prescribed Montair LC kid syrup and it is reduced. He checked and said that there is mild cough and cold and prescribed Omnacortil syrup now(7ml) in morning and afternoon for 3 days. Is it safe for 3 year old boy? Heard that it is a steroid and it will weaken the immune system. Kindly suggest.

My kids head circumference was 35.5cm at birth , 37.5 at one month , 39.6cm at two months and 39.7cm at three months. Between 2 to 3 months it grew by only 0.1 cm is there a cause of concern ?
