Chest & Breathing Problems

My mother is suffering from high fever (103)from last week. it is not reduced even taking antibiotic injection twice a day.today in ct scan we got to know she is having Bronchiectasis. please answer whether it is emergency or not and also please suggest further treatment.

I got tested covid positive in may and my brother in april mid this year. He has developed a fever since yesterday around 100. Could it be a case of covid re-infection. Only fever is there no other symptom. Oxygen levels around 97. He is 27 years old. And could i also get re-infected because of him? I have also taken my dose of vaccine in june

Due to bronchitis I take combitide125 two puff daily. Now I have persistent cough after fever. Can I take expectorant like Ascoril along with Inhalers?

Good afternoon Dr .My mother is 85 years old.She is diabetic.She is also on medicines for depression and blood thinner..She frequently gets Urinary tract infection.About 7months ago she got pneumonia and was treated for the same.. With Azithtral,Pulmoclear, Mucolite and defcof and Dolo.. She gets cough when she eats, talking loudly and sleeping.. She sleeps with her mouth open and has slight snoring too when she lies on her back.. She had this problem of coughing and sneezing when eating and otherwise even before she had the pneumonia attack.. She is on the following medicines Glycomet 500SR  0-0-1 Janumet 50/500 0-0-1 Glycomet GP 0.5 1-0-0 Qutipin 50mg 0-0-1 Dicorate ER 250 1-0-0 Prodep 20mg 1-0-0 Neurobion forte 0-1-0 Ecospirin AV 75 0-1-0 Becosules perfomance 1-0-0 Neeri 2-0-2 Her cough is not very severe or unbearable..But on nights when the fan runs in full speed or when climate gets chill coughing is more. Does covid infection(3 months old) and one dose covishield vaccine offer protection against reinfection? My brother goes to high court for work which is a congested area but he has also been infected and vaccinated with 1 dose but my mother grandparents and I live in the same house as him.

Hi Doctor, I have an enlarged tonsil on my right side of throat which is there from past 3 yrs. I have taken medication course as prescribed by my doctor twice in this period but no results at all. What could it be and how should I grt it treated. Could it be life threatening ! It is normally pink only in colour and I have no other problems except coughing from a while now.

I had tested covid positive on May 2, 2021. It was a mild infection and during that time my oxygen level was in normal limits. But now after two months, if I don't do any activity it is in 97/96. But when I climb stairs or just go for a walk it drops to 92/93. Why does that happen ?

My mother diagnosed with a mass lesion on posterior segment left upper lobe with diameter of 2.8 cm. Few small nodular densities at both upper lobes. She has only dry cough once in a while talking continuously or at night once in while from few months. No other symptoms. Should we go with biopsy or wait for another CT scan after 3 months? Because Biopsy sometime carry complications especially with lungs like pneumothorax and hemothorax. She is doing all daily activities smoothly. We are in confused tate. Pls suggest.
