Chest & Breathing Problems

Chest x ray done for pac for laparoscopic surgery. Xray images were shown to 3 doctors all had different answer. Please help if Its abnormal or normal what to be done.

I asked in a few centers near me in Mumbai for the Methacholine challenge test, but I couldn’t find any hospital or lab that offers it. I want to confirm — is the Methacholine test available anywhere in India, or is it not commonly done here? Also, can you recommend any pulmonary clinic or hospital (especially in Mumbai or nearby cities) that offers the Methacholine test? If anyone has done this test or knows any center, please share the details. Thank you in advance!

My doctor prescribed me itraconazole but even after 3 month my serum galactomann blood test show 1.75 which increased from april test 1.45. Though itraconazole stopped hempotysis but i have chest pain. All igg ige aspergillus is negative can anyone help?

Sir On 10 Apr2025 I Got Flu And Had 4 Nights Of Excessive Cough With Yellow Sputum I Did My Sputum Analysis Which Came Negative Then On 20Apr 2025 I Developed Some Burning Sensation In My Lungs And I Did My HRCT On 26/04/2025 Which Showed That I Have Mild Central Bronchiectatic Change And Centrilobular Nodes In Both Lungs...Infective Bronchiolitis I Am On Steriods Anti Allergic Medicines And Inhalor But My Chest Discomfort Is As It Is...I Did My BAL which just showed few inflammatory cells only and other allergic tests are negative like ig ABPAand FENO but my PFT Shows low value of FEV1/FVC and FEF25-75% i think either i havs ILD or BO or some other serious disease...my life is hell i am in deep trouble my future my job my aims everthing is compromised i really wana die

I had a recent lung infection, and now I have mild, thin white mucus. Should I take steam inhalation? If yes, should I inhale the steam through my mouth or nose for better relief?

My mother was suffering from lung infection from 20th May with high fever and cough CRP was 55.After treatment with antibiotic the cough and fever improved but she was suffering from extreme fatigue now crp is 4.60, haemoglobin 11 chest xray normal and pft is Also normal. The concern is she is suffering from extreme tiredness not able to perform daily activities and also shortness of breath on doing work Kindly advise.

Hello I had cold and cough, I went to ER yesterday, they had given me budecort 0.5 MG through nebulization, I came to know it's a steroid, hence I want to know if this one time use have any affects on my health as it being a steroid. we are hearing many people who are suffering with health conditions after taking steroids during covid time, can this one time use have any affect on me, Will I have any consequences on my health in future. Is it okay to reuse N95 masks for 3 days and store in a plastic cover? I recently bought a packet of N95 masks. Since they are expensive, I use each mask for 3 days. After each use, I store it in a clean plastic cover. After 3 days, I throw the mask away and use a new one. Is this method safe? Or should I use the mask only one time and throw it immediately? What is the best and safe way to use N95 masks?
