My Dad recently been diagnoised with Prostate Cancer.He had undergone TURP 6 years back.Now as advised by Doctor he is used to do PSA in every 6 months.Now this time my father's PSA has jumped from 4.14(Feb'16) to 5.9(Aug'16).He regularly takes Veltam F for last 5 years.Now he has gone for biopsy which has given a Gleason Score 7(4+3).Positive cores vs Total Cores : 6/12. Involvement 13%.Now we have consulted 3 Docs who has viven 3 different opinions. 1. Whole abdomen MRI with bone scan after 2 weeks of Biopsy 2.PSMA Pet/CT Scan after 3 weeks of biopsy 3.Prostate MRI and if needed then Bone scan after 6 weks of biopsy. 2 Docs have afvised him to take BICALUTAMIDE twice daily. Now im pretty confused,what should U go for.Im from KOLKATA.If you suggest any Doctor or Hospital it eould be of great help.Thanks in advance.

Multiple myeloma at stage 3. with lot of bone damage in back. Need to understand is it cureable or not. if not then what is the best possible treatment can achieve.

Dr. I today read somewhere about cancer. Symptoms were mentioned in that article. I am 5'3 and my weight is 40 kgs. When I was in 12th my weight was45 kgs. Since that time I haven't gain Weight. Also my skin is on a different level. I always come up with a new allergy in my skin ... Pimples... Rashes.. when I scratch or I do itching on my skin that specific area got swell and get calm in an hour or so. Dr. My concern is that.. article told me SKIN INFECTION AND WEIGHT LOSE CAN BE A SYMPTOM OF CANCER. PLEASE I REQUEST YOU PLEASE TELL ME IS EVERYTHING OK WITH ME OR NOT. I am scared so can't tell this at my home..but want to consult an experienced doctor.. because this is a deadly disease and I don't want to be a part of this.. The girl has developed a huge bump on her left thigh. She has ignored it for 2 years now(Bad timings and circumstances). It has become the size of 2 tennis balls. There is no pain or itching. On doing some research on the internet, her bump is similar to soft tissue sarcoma(images seen on the internet). She is located in Chennai. Which cancer centre would one recommend. My sister had a visit to a doctor for hematology yesterday and the doctor request to under go for blood transfusion and bone marrow. Is this can help to my sister condition? The doctor said she had a leukemia. What should we do because she is so thin and also malnurist and had big tummy due to her spleen?Her hemoglobin is 49? What can u suggest about my sister condition. I'm so worried about her.
