Hi, my father has recently been diagnosed with Myelodysplastic syndrome RAEB-I. The only symptoms he had was bleeding due to ulcers which gave a sign of dip in platelets. The first diagnosis was thought to be ITP & treatment was given. But later it was told to be MDS. Please help in how can the same be treated. Plat 4000, WBC - 5.8 but fluctuating. Haemoglobin - 10-11.

Can my mom at the age of 45 get survical cancer vaccines?? Will it be helpful for her to prevent any chances of getting cancer in future??

My father had prostate enlargement in 2008 which was operated and on biopsy it was diagnosed cancer by one lab but another lab diagnosed it normal bpe. We also ignored it. After 2 years in 2010 he felt severe back pain in lower part and reason was cancer.So we consulted an oncologist who advised for testicles removal to slow down cancer growth. So we followed his advice. Now he is having pain in hip area. What should be done in this stage? In what stage cancer is? Please advise.

I have throat pain since last 6-7 months. Pain comes for 20-25 seconds only like a honey bee bitten at left side of my throat. From last two weeks full throat is paining. I prescribed bactoclav and ect..many times but it has not cured. I feel ok while I take tablets and after 3-4days it starts again. My friend said this kind of pain may cancer also. Please suggest what should I do?
