Is there is any relationship between granular pharyngitis and cancer?..granular pharyngitis is due to hypertrophy of lymphoid follicle (part of waldayer ring)..cheif cause of granular pharyngitis is laryngopharyngeal refulx

I did biopsy and it says Hyperplastic squamous mucosa ..what does that mean and how it should be treated as I'm having ulcers in my mouth from past 2 months and that's not getting cured
