Brain and Spine Problems

Respected Doctor, This query relates to my mother aged 81+. In November 2022 she had scrub typhus and after successful treatment discharged. Besides  she had a compression fracture of the spine (D11 and D12) and a minor fracture of the inferior rami. She also had MRI and CT scan of the brain and the doctors said it's nothing to worry about . Since then, unfortunately, my mother is unable to walk. All she can do is walk a few yards with the help of Walker. You will find it interesting to know that she has no problem in doing all the prescribed exercises while lying on bed ( Quadricep drill, hip raise, etc). Now, out of the urge of knowing what exactly is wrong, I, went for doing the tests of Vitamin B12 and Calcium ( 25-Hydroxy). Vitamin B12 level is shown as 353 and for 25- Hydroxy it is 27. She is a osteoporosis (age- related) patient too. A few weeks ago, a single shot of Deca Durabolin 25 was administered which gave a little strength. Should we start vitamin b 12 supplement?

My Father suffered a stroke. Only after CT Scan results we came to know that this was a second stroke . Injection was administered to break up the clots within 1 hour. Its almost 2 months now he is still very agitated/restless and always has a tendency to go out. We had taken him to the place of his choice for past 2-3 weeks but it seems that we are only going from place to place and efforts going in vain. He does remember all of our relatives, the way to their houses and some of his passwords. His speech is not proper and has ran away from house couple of times when we restricted. We have to keep all doors locked at all times so he is yelling on top of his voice. Doctor suggested to give qutan 50 morning and evening, earlier it was qutan 100 at night. The situation still remains the same only that the period he is sedated he is less agitated. Kindly advice. Find attached reports.

As soon as I woke up today morning, I felt a sharp tingling sensation on the right side of my head like that of pins and needles. After massaging the head for a few seconds, the sensation disappeared but I have a slight headache on the side where the sensation happened. What could be the reason for this? Please advice.

I am feeling numbness on left side of my head. Yesterday, I felt this all over my head and almost passed out. My mouth became dry, heartbeat was faster. My BP was normal. I am not sure it is lake of sleep or something else. Today since I woke up I am having the same numb feeling on left side, sometimes face on the left side becomes numb. It seems something is putting pressure there. Shall I visit the neurologist or general physician. What kind of symptoms are these?

Past 15 days I have pricking feel under the feet after I wake up.when I sit or sleep I don't feel much.I am taking anxiety medicine nexito forte and Agoprex for sleeping trouble. Is there any neuro problem.

Hello doctors, I'm software engineer. I've heaviness and m ild headache all time. When I wake up in morning from that time till to the sleep I've feeling heaviness. I went to 3 neurosurgeon, Two MD Medicine doctor, 10+general physicians, 2 psychiatrists, 1 physiotherapist and much more. Neurosurgeon are will experienced some of then from jupiter hospital, Manipal hospital etc, also consult with ortho doctor. I've done CT scan of brain, MRI of brain, MRI of cervical spine, Whole spine screening. In this diagnosis no positive results are come. All reports are good there is no issues in brain and spine. Now, I'm feeling that this disease can be unique which is undiagnosable. Maybe be rarest of rare disease. Please help me to get out of this pain. Its humble request to doctors if anyone has this kind of patient in own experience please let me know how we can treat this. Thanks and hoping that anyone can help me.

Hi doc, I have had severe pain from Feb month more than 10 months behind my ears and the pain is radiating. I am just 31 years old and I am very afraid if this is a life threatening in the near future. We are planning for a baby and we dunno wat to do with my condition. Feb month I had topomac for 2 weeks and it got better again the pain started severe 2 weeks back and I am taking solpreg m. Please let me know if my nerve will be cured and back to normal?

Brian Mri results show this. Impression: Punctate increased FLAIR signal in the left frontal white matter is nonspecific but likely represent small vessel ischemic changes. A region of demyelination or gliosis cannot be excluded and clinical correlation is advised. Otherwise normal MRI of the brain. What does this mean? Symptoms are Balance issues sometimes.
