Temporary Paralysis

When my boyfriend broke up with me, he was crying and very emotional. This was very strange because he is not an emotional person at all. He couldn’t move; it was almost like he was paralyzed. Fortunately after a few minutes he could move again. It was really scary and obviously sad because he was breaking up with me. Could you explain the temporary paralysis? I just don’t understand how that happened, and he was not exaggerating. Why couldn’t he move?

Sensory input on physical/ mental health

Hi! I'm in the process of doing coursework for school and your opinion on this matter would be extremely helpful to me. Do you think too much sensory input over a long period of time (i.e., a week) can be harmful for mental and physical health? I'm thinking about a typical loud, noisy, hot, and crowded festival setting in particular. If you could briefly explain why that would be great. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.
