Dear doctor, my dad is 55yrs old and he has frequent pain on his knee. Sometimes it is swelling. We approached some doctors and they preferred some medicines. But still twice or thrice in a month he got heavy knee pain. If he works continuously he didn't get knee pain. If he takes rest at home for two three days he feels the pain. If any specialist or physiotherapist in Chennai please give your contact information I'll bring my dad for consultation.

Hello I had injured my left shoulder 4 years back. Since then few moments are restricted. Whenever I try or unintentionally move my hand in that direction there is a sudden jerk I don't really know how to explain it but it feels as if your shoulder is stuck and your bone has slipped down and is stuck there. It pains a lot amd after few seconds of struggle it is back to normal but pains for the entire day. I try to avoid such movements but sometimes even I'm asleep it gets stuck and I get up in immense pain. Pls suggest me some options. Thank you.

My dad has varicose veins problem from past 15 years. He suffers a lot of pain when he stands and sit for long time. He had undergone surgery 7years back but he was not much benefited from that surgery. He goes to office using public transport by the time he reach home his leg would be swollen and he has lot of pain. Once he sits while getting up he struggles a bit, he has healthy habits but he has a bad pain from these varicose veins. Is there is any treatment or laser surgery wherein it is vanished permanently and he is free from the pain and also it should not be seen again. Please suggest good method and doctor.

Having joint pains mainly at knee and angles after sitting continuously for some time. Foot get swollen after sitting or standing continuously.

Whenevr i walk i feel pressure on my legs starting frm feet. I feel pain in my back starting frm neck. Occassionally stomach problm and weakness i feel. Frm last few days i hv regular pain in my back and shoulders

One day I had a very nasty fall while playing football. Due to a very harsh tackle, I experienced a popping sound from my knee. And from that day I have severe knee pain. Knee feels locked up. I feel trouble while climbing stairs. I read so many articles on the net and I feel that may be it can be a ligament tear as well as the articular cartilage problem sometimes I feel like I'm loosing my balance while walking. I still play football and my knee sounds popping everyday. Although the nasty fall was nine months ago, I did not have the knowledge about the same so I never bothered about it but now after reading so many articles I find this problem an important one. I have done one x-ray and the reports were normal. Can ligament tear heal on its own? If it's an ACL one and can articular cartilage be re-generated. Please share your advice and if possible do suggest about home remedies.
