Upper-right back pain

I lifted heavy object a week before. Which caused terrible back pain on upper right side. I went to physio session once and it got better. Now I was travelling 3 hours in car and the pain came back. It is bearable but annoying. Plus it pains if I sneeze or cough. Will rest, ice therapy and ointment work to get better?

RICE therapy for Ankle sprain

Hello, my mother, who is 68 years old, twisted her right ankle slightly three to four days ago after missing a step while descending stairs. The pain has since reduced, but there is still some swelling around the ankle area, which makes walking slightly difficult. We therefore want to begin rice therapy as a result. There is some confusion regarding the rice therapy because it calls for using an ice pack for 10 to 20 minutes, three to four times each day. Does this mean that the ankle brace must always be removed when icing?   Moreover, I also have Moov pain relief spray; when should I use it? During rice therapy, we apply ice and use ankle braces for compression; how should we use Moov pain relief, then? Please provide step-by-step instructions on how to apply rice therapy each day using ice cubes, an ankle brace, Moov pain relief spray, etc. Thanks a lot

Heel pain on pressing

For last 1month, I am having pain in my heel area after waking up in the morning and sometimes during walking. I also observed that I am having pain when I am pressing the particular area(photo given) in my feet when I am in plantar flexion stage but when I am in the dorsal flexion stage, this particular area is not paining while pressing. I visited an Orthopaedic surgeon. He told me that I am having TA bursitis. He have not done any X-ray or related test, he told to do Vit D3, Uric Acid, TSH test, and all those tests came normal. He had given me Synertab for 10 days, Ezact MR for 20days and Supracal 2000 for 1 month and told me to wear shoes with little heel and soft soles. I completed the course of Synertab&EzactMR (previously) & Supracal 2000(yesterday) and wearing soft soled shoes everytime (even at home) but I am still not fully cured. Am also doing heel raise exercise.but I still face trouble for first few steps after waking up & sometimes during other times of the day.pls suggest!

Query regarding playing sports

Sorry for bothering you once again Doctor Sir. As I have "few anterior marginal osteophytes arising from L2 & L3 vertebra" in CT Scan and I am asymptomatic. (I think these osteophytes outgrowth is due to my spinal tuberculosis in 2018 in same around L3 spinal vertebra.) I just wanted to ask you that can I play sports like cricket & football? Can I walk and run as usual?

Polio leg, fell down, blood clot.

Hi Dr. Am Naresh. My right leg is with polio since my childhood. I do walk using hand stick in general. I fell down while walking 11 days back, i could not able to walk that time because of severe pain and blood clotted in my feet. visited orthopaedic, got x-ray and he confirmed there is no fracture but applied POP as there is a blood clot and suggested me to use calcium tablets. Today removed the POP but i still see the blood clot remains same and it spread a bit down in feet as shown in attached pic.  Kindly suggest how this blood clot will get cured. Thanks, Naresh.
