Hi Doctors, i recently met with an accident, broke one wrist and one ankle. Surgery done. Plates and screws have been put. Is it advisable to remove the same after a year or is it safe to keep it. Thanks for your response.

My doctor says that my fractured leg has healed only 30% in the last 45 days.. and that I should start doing walking exercises.. So my question is.. should I be doing walking exercises at this stage? As it may only aggravate the pain since my foot is not fully recovered! Please reply soon!
