I've got knee pain issue because of injury which I got while playing football. ACL tear is seen in MRI. Do I have any other option than surgery?

My shoulder been hit by a tree branch during car accident. So my shoulder got a little bit wound and i feel pain at my shoulder bone. The doctor just give me a MSM injection and now i'm suffering because of the swelling from the injection. I can lift my arm and shoulder as usual but the pain still there. What should i do ?

The pain is very similar to the pain of being stabbed by a knife. In the MRI of the right arm performed on 29th August 2017, tear is seen in the triceps muscle.
